Karabük University Hasan Doğan School of Physical Education and Sports was established pursuant to the Additional Article 30 of the Law No. 2809 published in the Official Gazette dated 6.02.2010 and numbered 27505. The Department of Sports Management has started to accept students as of the 2011-2012 Academic Year.
