Our school accepts students with Special Talent Exam and/or Central Placement methods on the condition of taking YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam) or YÖS (Foreign Student Exam) which are held every year by the Student Selection and Placement Center. Coaching Education and Physical Education and Sports Teaching Departments matriculate students with Special Talent Exam, while Sports Management Department accepts students with the Central Placement Score according to the results of the YKS (HEIE) exam. In addition, while undergraduate transferring to all our departments from other universities in Turkey is possible, students can also be accepted to the Sports Management Department with the Vertical Transfer Examination.
Special Talent Exam
Students are admitted to the Departments of Coaching Education and Physical Education and Sports Teaching with a Special Talent Exam. Special Talent Exams are held on Karabuk University Iron and Steel Campus every year in July-August after the YKS (HEIE) scores are announced. In the Special Talent Exam, candidates are evaluated on the basis of their YKS (HEE) score and special talent exam scores, and the details of the exam are announced in the guide published every year before the exam.
Central Placement
Student admission to the Sports Management Department is carried out by the Central Placement method according to the HEIE exams organized by Student Selection and Placement Center (SSPC). Candidates can choose our department with their TYT (Basic Proficiency Test) scores in the YKS (HEIE) exam.
Undergraduate Transfer
Students are accepted to all programs in our school by undergraduate transfer. Undergraduate transfers take place within the framework of the relevant regulations of the Council of Higher Education.
Vertical Transfer
Vertical transfer to Sports Management Department is possible from Sports Management associate degree programs. Vertical transfers are implemented with equally-weighted score type according to the results of the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by ÖSYM (SSPC).
TR-YÖS (Yabancı Öğrenci Sınavı) Foreign Student Exam
Our school accepts foreign students ,who are not citizens of Republic of Turkey, with "Foreign Student Exam" held by Student Selection and Placement Center.
