School of Physical Education and Sports was established with the Cabinet decision dated 01/02/2010, pursuant to the Additional Article 30 of the Law No. 2809 published in the Official Gazette dated 26.02.2010 and numbered 27505, and started its academic activities on Karabük University Iron and Steel Campus.
Our school admits students to the Departments of Coaching Education, Physical Education and Sports Teaching and Sports Management. In addition, postgraduate education is provided under the Department of Physical Education and Sports within the Institute of Graduate Studies.
Under the responsibility of our school; one football pitch, one athletics track, one fitness center, one massage parlour, one reading hall, one dance-rhythm hall, one taekwondo hall, one tennis court, one sport performance laboratory, one multi-purpose sport hall and one gymnasium are available. In addition, other sports facilities within the body of our university and facilities affiliated to the Karabük Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports are utilized in educational activities.
Our school continues its academic and administrative activities with a total of 35 staff, including 2 professors, 3 associate professors, 10 assistant professors, 2 instructors , 4 research assistants, 1 school secretary, 7 administrative staff, 6 support staff, and maintains its development with its young and dynamic staff.
